As lockdown continues to bite and many businesses struggle with implementing home working processes, digital and cloud experts Synergi have launched a free COVID-19 Business Support Pack to help businesses improve commercial momentum.
The ‘ready to go’ pack was created by Gateshead-based Synergi in response to a poll asking businesses what processes they were most struggling with in the current working environment.
Synergi specialises in process digitisation as part of helping organisations switch from traditional IT systems to more efficient cloud technologies. Their free COVID-19 Business Support Pack includes a collection of helpful business forms and processes including a furloughed worker process, staff on and off-boarding, working from home agreements with digital signatures, home working risk and safety audits, sickness notification and a return to work passport.
The company has struck an exclusive deal with market leading process management and workflow automation experts Nintex, to make the pack free on a Nintex platform for 90 days, after which businesses can buy an annual licence or remove the platform.
Synergi is also offering a range of support packages for Microsoft Teams collaborative working software, including two hours of free support.
Chief operating officer Justin Short explains: “We want to do our bit to help businesses maintain their operations, and our poll showed that not all of them were able to implement remote working as quickly as it was needed. Not just from a technology availability perspective, but also from onboarding and getting employees up to speed with using new and different solutions, apps and processes.
“We want to make sure as many organisations as possible can use digital technology to keep functioning, and even thriving, while employees are working remotely.
“People have quickly realised that working from home doesn’t only affect areas of everyday working life such as meetings,or accessing your emails and files remotely. There is also the stress of everyone trying to access software installed on servers in the office,or trying to handle processes that are not designed for remote working.
“The working model has suddenly changed massively, and when we emerge from this situation the way businesses are run is unlikely to be the same as pre-Covid19.
“The need to embrace Cloud-based digital technologies to enable working from any location has quickly become urgent, and we want to help as many organisations as possible to tap into the power of Cloud and keep their businesses healthy.”
Synergi is holding free webinars on Friday 3 April, and Thursday 9th April, to talk managers through how to automate processes and show how its free COVID-19 Business Support Pack can help.
The business is also running free webinars, specifically aimed at financial managers and directors, from 8 April, exploring Microsoft’s Business Central financial software and the benefits of secure Cloud-based business accounting within Microsoft 365.
It is also running a regular schedule of free lunchtime seminars to help users get to grips with using collaborative working software Microsoft Teams
