Brand Refresh Signals Ambitious New Chapter Following 60% Turnover Growth

Issue 117

A newly unveiled brand refresh marks the next chapter for True North Construction, following a standout year of rapid expansion in the North East, in which turnover rose by 60% and its workforce more than doubled.

The refresh reflects a shift in focus for the Newcastle-based business as it targets larger high-value projects over £5 million across the residential and commercial sectors.

With a growing portfolio and an expanding team, the updated brand identity represents a clear expression of the company’s ambition, capability and evolving market position. As part of the refresh, True North Construction has also launched a new website, providing a cohesive showcase of its services, expertise and growing body of work.

Founded in 2019, True North Construction has earned a strong reputation for delivering bespoke residential builds, high-end refurbishments and certified Passivhaus homes. Its reputation for quality, sustainability and attention to detail has helped drive expansion into new commercial sectors, including hospitality, healthcare, education and workplace fit-outs.

The refreshed and updated brand positioning is intended to better reflect the scale and quality of work now being delivered while staying true to the values that underpin the company’s approach.

Steven Henderson, director at True North Construction, said: “This refresh marks a natural progression for us. Our name and values remain but our messaging now better reflects the scale and ambition of the projects we are undertaking. We’ve grown quickly but in a way that has been deliberate and sustainable with a focus on doing the job right and building strong client relationships.”

To support its ambitions, the company has strengthened its senior leadership and project delivery teams and invested in its in-house joinery and bespoke interiors division. It also remains one of the region’s few certified Passivhaus specialists, demonstrating its long-standing commitment to sustainable construction.

David Roberts, director, said: “Our focus is now firmly on delivering larger and more complex projects. We’re investing in our team and specialist services so we can continue to exceed expectations on every build. Whether it’s a bespoke residential development or a complex commercial fit-out, our aim is to set a new standard for quality in the North East.”

The rebrand follows the company’s win at the 2025 Constructing Excellence North East Awards, where it was recognised with Residential Project of the Year for a landmark scheme in Tynemouth. It was the second time in three years the business had taken home the award.
