New Appointments Announced

Castle Building Services has announced the appointments of Martin Smith as senior mechanical estimator and Brian Carr as senior quantity surveyor.

Martin, will work closely with pre-construction manager, Richard Flynn and estimating director, Barry Beck, with Brian reporting into commercial manager, Andrew Heron.

Castle Building Services operates across the UK and the appointments follow a raft of new starters during 2022, in varying positions across the business.

Headquartered in Hebburn, with a headcount of 134 and offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Teesside, Castle Building Services, which last year recorded £30 million turnover, is one of the UK’s leading providers of building services, offering a wide range of high-quality construction and engineering contracting services covering all aspects of building, mechanical, public health, renewable and electrical engineering.

The increase in headcount follows the company’s appointment to major schemes, including its role as principal contractor for the state-of-the-art PragmatIC Park electronics facility in Durham.
