Let SASS take care of your public image and reputation. At SASS media Ltd, we're not just here to write a one-off press release about your business or organisation - although that is something we can do in a bid to get you some media coverage, say about the opening of a new business, significant new appointment or transfer of ownership.
We pride ourselves on being trusted consultants in all things communications, whether you want us to analyse how well your social media is performing and suggest improvements and content ideas, or you want us to explore your communications with specific stakeholders, like staff, service users or the general public.
Our best work comes from having a long-term relationship with clients as trusted communications experts – and in 2026, we are looking to develop new long term relationships within organisations of all sizes.
These might already have a marketing director or business development manager, but still require support from people who understand media relations, internal communications and public perception and reputation, without the need to take on a new full-time member of staff.
That’s where we come in!
As well as working with one-man bands and being affordable and competitive enough to do so, we work closely with members of senior leadership teams within our client organisations – and we enjoy good and productive relationships with these, where we foster a culture of honesty, openness and transparency.
In the last year, we have worked with Jacksons, a growing, independent law firm which has offices on Teesside and Tyneside, to secure some excellent media coverage and support the written communications side of its marketing activities and materials.
We love working with Emily Bentley and Alexander Smith in the firm’s marketing department and we’re proud to act as an extension of their team as and when they need us to help promote the great work that the firm is doing.
We’ve also continued working with Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust, our first retainer client, supporting the Trust to attract the attention of journalists with heartwarming stories around the fantastic activities pupils have undertaken, as well as good news stories around positive Ofsted inspections and Catholic Schools Inspectorate (CSI) visits.
We really enjoy working with Sarah Irving, the Trust’s communications and marketing manager, who says: “I have been delighted with both the quality of releases and the breadth of coverage SASS have secured for us to date.
“The Sarahs’ expertise in journalism and education is the perfect blend for us.”
So what are we looking forward to helping more clients with in 2026?
We want to help businesses with their internal communications, improving the relationships they have with their staff, as well as stakeholder relations.
Our PR backgrounds in Primary, Secondary and Further Education, as well as the NHS, will stand us in good stead for this, as we carry out everything from stakeholder mapping, supporting public consultations and executing creative campaigns, to get key messages out to the people who need to hear them, including the general public and local communities.
As well as being experts in spotting positive media opportunities for our clients and getting them behind the microphone, in front of TV cameras or taking up many column inches in print publications, we are also highly analytical.
In 2026, we will enjoy producing more comprehensive reports for all our clients on the effectiveness of their communications, from analysis of social media and website content performance through to the effectiveness of earned media coverage.
In the three years since we set up SASS, we have also produced a number of high-quality magazines, newsletters and articles for various organisations, including charities and private sector businesses.
Recently, we have been working with a brand specialist and HR professional on the internal culture and public perceptions of a large organisation and providing comprehensive communications strategies.
We have also offered many organisations immediate crisis communications support due to negative media attention and enabled them to put their best foot forward through difficult times.
So in 2026, what do we wish for?
It is our hope that the new year will bring us opportunities to display all this expertise and more!
If you have a need for any form of consultation on how your organisation is perceived and whether the messages you want to communicate are being heard by the right people at the right time, why not meet us for a no-obligation coffee and a chat?
We have a private office space where you can discuss your organisation and any challenges it is facing around communication or reputation in complete confidence.
We’d love to offer a listening ear and help you lift and lead your organisation throughout 2026!
