Sanderson Arcade is a muchloved shopping destination in Morpeth, Northumberland. Home to well-known HighStreet names such as Marks and Spencer, Fat Face, JoJo Maman Bebe, Hobbs, Phase Eight, Waterstones and Mint Velvet.

Independent department store, Sandersons Boutique opened in October 2020 and anchors the centre providing the town with several luxury fashion brands including Barbour, Holland Cooper, Weekend Max Mara, Marella, Jacob Cohen, Hackett, and Boss.

Sandersons Boutique also has built up a reputation for luxury fragrances with brands including Parfums de Marly, Penhaligon’s, House of Oud, Atkinsons, and Chanel.

The popular brand Lounges has opened at Sanderson Arcade this summer, creating around 25 new jobs for the area and the first Lounges to open in the North East. The company has transformed the former Laura Ashley shop at Sanderson Arcade into a stunning, quirky, and casual dining experience, bringing something completely different for visitors and shoppers. A real home from home, Martino Lounge caters for all tastes throughout the day with a varied and innovative all-day menu incorporating glutenfree and vegan options as well as an exciting cocktail and drinks menu.

Sanderson Arcade boasts a weekly footfall of 55,000 – 60,000 visitors per week. The centre holds a waiting list for retail and office tenants wanting to join and very rarely has empty space.

Sanderson Arcade’s neighbouring development, Stanley Terrace, provides visitors with a convenient 300+ space car park, which is free for up to three hours.

Pets at Home and Home Bargains sit on the perimeter with a Costa and TUI concession based within the large Next store.

A range of commercial businesses operate from the first-floor offices at the centre in the financial, real estate and recruitment sectors.

Business owners have cited their main reasons for basing themselves at Sanderson Arcade was an affluent catchment with good transport links, the 24-hour gym that’s on site for staff wellbeing and the range of shops and eateries making the workday in the office a real treat.
