What inspired you to pursue a career in the hospitality industry? I originally had no interest in working in the sector and actually started my career on the family fishing boat catching salmon in the Summer and crab and lobster in the Winter. I finally joined Linden Hall as a night porter where I was inspired by the Head Concierge, Dean Maddison, to become a golden keys concierge. I found I loved the industry and over the next few years worked across all departments before deciding I wanted to be a General Manager. My first GM position came at Horton Grange before I moved to Doxford Hall and then back to Linden Hall. It has been a very enjoyable journey. Tell us about your current role?
