Beadnell Towers Hotel And The Towers Kitchen, Bar & Terrace Opening Its Doors After Completion Of £3m Refurbishment Project

Issue 48

The popular and historic Beadnell Towers Hotel and Towers Kitchen, Bar and Terrace located on the Northumberland coast is set to throw open its doors after the completion of a £3m refurbishment.

With a welcoming bar and large open plan eating space, it’s perfect for friends and family, not forgetting the four-legged variety. Go along for breakfast, drop into the bar for lunch, and stay for dinner; the Towers will be open all day, serving a seasonal menu of thoughtfully chosen local food and drink.

Beadnell Towers now features 18 individuallydesigned bedrooms, five of which are dog-friendly, and there are interlinking room options for the perfect family holiday. Around 30 people have been recruited to work at the hotel, mostly from surrounding communities, and a further ten new jobs are expected to be created.

Denis Frucot was appointed last year as General Manager and has overseen the refurbishment of the venue.

Denis trained in France and has spent over 20 years managing some of the leading hotels in the UK; he brings a wealth of experience and expertise, while RMT Accountants & Business Advisors have worked with the management team on the financial aspects of the project.

The hotel, kitchen, bar and terrace is set for its official opening in June, although it is already welcoming its first guests and customers. The team behind the refurbishment are local business partners David Wilson and John Morse.

John Morse says: “There is nothing quite like Beadnell Towers in the area. When the opportunity arose to buy it, it was clear The Towers had great potential and that encouraged us to acquire the building and set about bringing the property back to its former glory through this major refurbishment.

“Each of the bedrooms has been individually designed around these original features, while the bar and kitchen offer both formal and casual dining options, based around a modern British menu. “We’re very close to some of the country’s best beaches and so have created a relaxed and informal bar which customers can feel welcome to visit straight from the sand without worrying about meeting any dress codes.

“We’re very excited by what’s been created over the previous 18 months, and it’s especially pleasing to have had so much local support for the project. “RMT is renowned for its work with some of the best-known names in the regional hospitality industry, and the insight that this experience has brought to this project has been extremely valuable.”

Ayden De Beer at RMT Accountants adds: “It’s been wonderful to see the management team’s ideas for the new Beadnell Towers being realised over the last 18 months and they have created a fantastic venue that we’re certain will quickly become hugely popular both within and outside the region.”
