Barista Boho: Building Blocks To Community Hub Success

Issue 90

A local café bar has recently announced a new Head Chef appointment as well as a fresh and healthy new menu.

North Shields-based Barista Boho, the community-focused cafe known for its cool vibes, is excited to announce the appointment of a new head chef Paul Scott who has taken the helm of the kitchen to bring a fresh twist to the menu.

With years of experience in the culinary arts, the new chef will introduce new small-plates and buddha bowls to the menu, following feedback from the venue’s loyal customers.

Already renowned for their exceptional barista coffee, and fantastic range of craft beers, the venue also opens itself up to a variety of social activities including poetry/spoken word open-mic nights, cocktail masterclasses, writers’ workshops, children’s mosaic workshops, photography courses, art workshops, spiritual nights, sip & paint evenings, music and much more.

Chef Paul Scott told us: “All our dishes will be made on-site with fresh ingredients sourced from local suppliers, ensuring that customers receive healthy and tasty food every time they visit. Even our bread will be made on the premises!”

“We are thrilled to have Paul join the Barista Boho team as our new head chef, said Karen Weech, the venues’ co-owner. “His passion for cooking and his commitment to using only the best ingredients aligns perfectly with our values. We are excited for our customers to try the new menu items and taste the difference.”

Customers can expect to see the new menu items now at Barista Boho.

Paul has created a range of evening specials including homemade sweet chilli scotch eggs, black pudding sausage rolls, savoury doughnuts, frittatas all made fresh to plate.

Boho is located at 112 Church Way/Saville Street, North Shields NE29 6PB and is open every day from 8am (except Sunday 9am) until 5pm, & Friday & Saturdays until 10pm.
