Sponsorship Available For Inaugural Uk Top Influencer Awards In Newcastle

Issue 100

A night of glitz and glamour is expected in Newcastle next month, as a model and DJ brings top influencers from across the UK to the city for the inaugural UK Top Influencer Awards.

Chris Henderson, who is originally from Scarborough but now lives in Middlesbrough, organised the event to “recognise influential people for the good work they do”.

The awards have attracted entries from hundreds of social media influencers up and down the country, with 200 being named as finalists, who are due to attend the event at Northumbria University’s students’ union on April 20.

Chris, who is looking for sponsors to get on board with the event, said he wanted to bring “authenticity, integrity and a positive image” to the ever-growing world of social media influencers.

“I want something that recognises these influential people for all the good that they actually do,” said Chris.

“Lots of local businesses and creative professionals have come on board to assist with the event – from decorating the venue to providing photography and video footage – and I’m proud to be able to showcase their talents to the UK’s top influencers.

“The event has attracted support from the Newcastle Business Improvement District (BID) NE1 Limited and I’m also very proud to be welcoming Georgia Harrison to host the event.”

The TV personality and influencer, who found fame on TOWIE and Love Island, is now also known as an activist and writer, after waiving her right to anonymity in the case she brought against Stephen Bear.

“She is a prime example of the good work that influencers can do, using their voice as a platform to bring about positive changes,” Chris said.

“I’m delighted to have her involved in what promises to be a successful night.”

Influencer and model Georgina Ogden, who is one of the judges, said: “These awards not only recognise outstanding achievements within the influencer community but also foster a sense of unity and empowerment among influencers from diverse backgrounds and niches.”

The awards have 20 categories, including top social justice influencer, top technology influencer and top business leader.

Sponsorship opportunities for the event start at £500, which includes a six-foot promotional stall in a prime spot within the venue.

Bronze, silver, gold and platinum sponsorship packages range between £4,000 and £15,000.

The awards kick off around 7pm, following a special VIP mixer hour from 5.30pm. There will also be a circus performer entertaining guests and the awards will conclude with a DJ set.

Tickets can be bought at EventBrite starting at £33.22 for Balcony standing.
