What inspired you to become an Accountant, and what path did you take to get here? From being a paperboy, to working fruit markets on cold mornings to selling Christmas Trees whilst still at school, the work ethic has always been in me. This led me to be fascinated by how businesses work with the stories behind them and how to make money. At 16 I left school and started on a YTS scheme in an accountants and was ACCA qualified by the time I was 22 years old. I started my own practice when aged 28 and over the years I’ve built 1st Cloud Accountants into a firm that’s all about combining expert advice with a down-to-earth, approachable style. We opened a second office around 10 years ago in South Shields and in September 2025, we’ve expanded by purchasing JC Accountants, which has helped strengthen our presence and services…
