Constructing Excellence North East (CENE) has confirmed that Smart Construction 2025 will take place on Wednesday, 22 October.
The event will bring together leaders and innovators from across the construction sector for a day dedicated to smarter, more sustainable ways of working.
Organised by CENE’s Innovation Group, in collaboration with Newcastle and Northumbria Universities, the event, which includes interactive sessions and exhibitor showcases, will be held at The Catalyst Building in Newcastle, from 9am-4.30pm.
This year’s headline sponsor is Northumbrian Water Group, with Buston & Maughan Ltd supporting as category sponsor and JTC Furniture Group as food sponsor.
The conference and exhibition will shine a spotlight on cutting-edge digital tools, sustainable construction methods and modern approaches to building, while also supporting the region’s broader sector groups in climate action, people and value.
Keynote speakers from across the construction and academic sectors, including Northumbrian Water, Nottingham Trent University, AIM, Amvic, Bellrock, Buildots, Okana, Seismi, ZTL – Applebridge and Teesside University will provide valuable insight into how innovation is being applied across live projects and business strategies throughout the UK.
The Innovation Group includes representatives from organisations who work together to drive forward best practice and collaboration in the built environment.
