Eldon Square is bringing back its iconic Student Takeover this September, with exclusive discounts, free food, live entertainment and hundreds of prizes up for grabs.
Taking place on Monday 28th September from 2.30pm until 7.30pm, the free event, of which the main sponsor is Jet2, will give freshers and returning students access to offers from some of Eldon Square’s biggest fashion, and foodie brands. This includes 50% off at Smash Burger and Chit N Chaat, 40% off at Chaophraya, 25% off Levi’s and 20% off at Schuh, Hollister and River Island. Adding to the excitement, students who register for a free e-ticket before midnight on 28th September and attend the event will also be entered into a prize draw to win a £500 Eldon Square Gift Card.
The takeover will transform the centre into an afternoon of shopping, food and entertainment, with free Wingstop chicken, Greggs vouchers, matcha, popcorn and candy floss – all available while stocks last. Visitors can also take part in games including Crack the Safe and Spin the Wheel, with prizes including a £100 Eldon Square Gift Card.
Alongside the giveaways, students will be able to enjoy live entertainment and access exclusive offers across fashion, beauty, food, footwear, technology and lifestyle retailers throughout the centre. Jet2 will be partnering with Newcastle Airport at the event, giving students the opportunity to discover why nothing beats Jet2 and pick up exclusive merchandise.
