Mowden Hall is immensely proud of its Year 8 pupils and the exciting next steps they are taking as they move on to senior school.
Mowden believes success is about far more than academic results alone. Pupils thrive across a wide range of areas, including sport, music, art, and drama, and this year’s cohort have achieved an impressive range of destinations and awards.
Pupils will be heading to senior schools including Eton College, Sedbergh School, Shrewsbury School, and Oundle School, with others opting to stay more local at Barnard Castle School, Newcastle High School for Girls, and Ampleforth College.
The school is also delighted to celebrate scholarship and award success across sport, music, and all-round achievement. Awards include Sports Scholarships to Sedbergh School and Ampleforth College, a Music Scholarship to Oundle School, several Exhibition awards and one pupil receiving the prestigious Michael Palin All-Rounder Scholarship to Shrewsbury School.
