Carney Consultancy has raised £5,000 to support Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter, following a charity golf day held at Macdonald Linden Hall.
The shelter rehomes lost, unwanted, neglected, abused and abandoned animals every year. It also reunites lost pets with their owners.
There was a strong turnout for the golf day from across the North East construction and development sector, including Adderstone Living, Adderstone Civils, Atlas Certification, Baileygomm, ADS Aircon, Classic Masonry, Compass Developments, Costiles, Northern Ceilings & Partitions, Optimum Skills, PJS Brickwork, Redhead Roofing, STP Construction, Tilbury Douglas, Teambuild and John N Dunn Group.
The winning team was ADS Aircon, Atlas Certification took second place and STP Construction was third.
The first prize for an individual performance went to Aaron Devlin at PJS Brickwork.
