A Year In The Life Of Forfusion

It’s been a year of real momentum at Forfusion. As North East-based digital transformation experts, we’ve always taken pride in helping organisations remove complexity from their IT operations. Over the past 12 months, that mission has taken on even greater significance and recognition.

This year, we were proud to be named one of Ward Hadaway’s North East Fastest 50, a list that celebrates the fastest-growing, privately owned businesses in the region. The recognition felt like a real moment. It’s not only a sign that our business is growing in the right way, but a reminder that the work we’re doing is resonating with our customers.

It followed another milestone earlier in the year when we were named as the North East Chamber of Commerce SME Business of the Year, recognising our remarkable growth and progressive approach to workforce development and inclusion. Judges praised our “people-first culture” and strong record in cybersecurity and STEM. As the Chamber plays such a vital role in supporting and championing businesses across the region, this recognition meant a lot to our entire team.

Both awards reflect the energy and ambition that’s driven us this past year – a year where we’ve continued to evolve, both in what we deliver and how we deliver it.

We’ve always believed that technology should enable better decisions, better outcomes, and better experiences. That belief is more relevant than ever as we help businesses across the UK define and execute their AI strategies.

We’re continuing to lead the way in simplifying complex IT environments, and increasingly we’re helping organisations unlock the potential of AI securely and confidently. Whether that’s through advisory engagements, integrations, or longterm transformation initiatives, our role is to turn ambition into action.

We’ve developed a strong internal AI capability to improve operational efficiency. Starting with our Managed Services team, where our in-house AI tool is already streamlining processes, we plan to expand AI adoption across other teams in line with identified use cases, freeing our people to focus on strategic, relationship-led work.

We know that for our customers, it’s not just about having the right technology in place. It’s about having the right partner, one who understands their world, shares their ambition, and brings the clarity needed to make change happen. That’s the role we strive to play every day.

Our strong customer satisfaction scores and performance data confirm that our strategy is delivering results. FY 2025 is on track to be our most impactful year yet, as we welcome more high-profile clients than ever before and continue building the foundations for ambitious growth.

Looking ahead, our goal is to be recognised as the leading Cisco partner in the North East-renowned not only for technical excellence but for the exceptional experience we create for our customers.

We’re also expanding our services in new and exciting directions, including IIoT. Our team is already working on some innovative IIoT projects, and we see huge potential in this area, especially for industries looking to connect and optimise their operations in smarter ways.

Of course, none of this happens without people, and we’ve always believed in building a company culture that puts people first.

We’ve continued to invest in our team this year, from deepening technical expertise to encouraging collaboration across departments. Everyone at Forfusion plays a role in our success, and over the past 12 months, our teams have grown by 15%, demonstrating the strength and resilience of our people. This commitment is reflected in our exceptional employee NPS score of +75%, highlighting the engagement and satisfaction of our workforce.

That same spirit extends to our customers and partners. Whether we’re co-creating long-term strategies or solving day-to-day challenges, we know the best results come from strong relationships built on trust, shared goals, and open communication.

As we head into 2026, our focus remains clear: helping organisations thrive in a rapidly evolving digital world. That means simplifying the complex whether through AI adoption aligned to business outcomes, strengthening cybersecurity and compliance, or delivering hybrid cloud solutions to drive growth. It also means staying curious and agile, adapting as technology and customer needs evolve, and showing up every day with a mindset of service, partnership, and progress.

It’s been a rewarding year, one full of growth, learning, and momentum. And if the past 12 months are anything to go by, the next 12 look even more promising.
