Constructing Excellence North East has announced the shortlist for its 2025 Awards, which recognises outstanding achievement across the built environment sector in the region.
The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, June 13th, 2025, at the Grand Hotel, Gosforth Park. It is a night which will celebrate people, projects and organisations driving positive change across the North East’s construction industry.
The awards span a wide range of categories, reflecting the breadth and depth of the region’s construction expertise. They include Integration & Collaborative Working, ESG, Regeneration and Conservation, Innovation, Delivering Value, SME, Climate Action, Retrofit, Residential Project of the Year, Infrastructure Project of the Year, People and Culture, Building Project of the Year and Client of the Year. The Outstanding Achievement category nominees will be revealed on the night.
The Building Project of the Year and Infrastructure Project of the Year categories, both sponsored by CDM Recruitment, continue to gain momentum, showcasing inspirational work that delivers outstanding outcomes. Both awards celebrate organisations that reward and incentivise the supply chain through collaborative procurement and fair payment practices. They highlight projects that showcase a robust digital strategy, embody a positive culture and an excellent approach to health, safety and wellbeing. All shortlisted categories have demonstrated high levels of sustainability including demonstrable actions to cut carbon and a strong commitment to social value.
