Weekend event promises summer fun for all the family
Croxdale Group Durham is a proud sponsor of the 70th Spennymoor Gala, which takes place on Saturday July 5, promising fun for all the family.
An unforgettable day of fun and excitement is on the cards, whether you’re soaking up the carnival atmosphere during the Grand Parade procession through the High Street, Market Place and Carr Street or joining us at Jubilee Park for a wide range of activities and performances.
A live Music Stage, presented by Croxdale Group, will feature live bands including The Banned and Hat Shaped Heads.
Croxdale Group will also have the stunning Alfa Romeo Junior on display during the procession.
DJ Murray Mint and The Luvbug Disco Show, as seen on Britain’s Got Talent, will also take to the stage.
A family funfair, vintage vehicles and displays, local products and craft stalls also feature at the event, which has a suggested £1 cash donation for those aged 12 and over upon entry.
Anthony Rockingham, managing director of Croxdale Group said: “It is great to be involved with the Spennymoor Gala this year and we look forward to attending what will be a great day out for all the family.
“This is one of many summer events we are involved with in the local summer calendar and promises a wide variety of entertainment, from live music, to funfairs and craft stalls.
“We’ll also have 20 vehicles on display across our new Alfa Romeo and Jeep brands, as well as Citroen, DS and MG, so visitors will have the opportunity to check out what could be their next set of wheels.”
The grand parade will take place from 12.30pm, with all the festivities in Jubilee Park taking place between 1pm and 4.30pm.
