A Word from the Pro… Tynemouth is a relatively flat par 70 course. The distinguishing feature being a ravine through the centre of the course which comes into play on 11 of the holes on the course. There are some tricky holes, with the toughest arguably being the 547yd par 5 twelfth. The fairway narrows at about 240 yards from the tee, demanding accuracy from the big hitters. Overall Tynemouth provides a good test for players of varying golfing ability.
