Sponsorship Deal Signed With New South Shields Fc Manager Julio Arca

Boldon-based, New Energy and Building Services Solutions, has swooped to secure the sponsorship of Julio Arca, the new manager of South Shields FC.

The company is sponsoring the former Sunderland legend during the 2023/24 season.

Under the guidance of its previous manager, another former Sunderland icon, Kevin Phillips, the club has this season been promoted to the National League North, having been crowned Northern Premier League champions.

New Energy and Building Services Solutions is a specialist in commercial and residential solar PV installations operating across the north of England and Scotland, offering a range of solar panel and battery storage solutions.

David Kay, managing director at New Energy and Building Services Solutions, said: “As a South-Tyneside based business, we have been very aware of the growth of the club in recent years. It has a great setup with a lot of investment having been made to assure its long-term viability and success. We have been very impressed with the impact the club has had within the local community, especially the way it has reached out to the business sector. The fact it understands the importance of corporate sponsorship, gave us the confidence to step forward.

“Sponsoring new manager, Julio Arca, is a huge coup for us and we are certain it will increase awareness of our brand across the region, particularly as South Shields FC is a high-profile name, attracting top local talent.”

The appointment of Julio Arca, signals the club’s intent to build on its growth, both on and off the pitch, and through its Business Club, launched in 2022, it has gained support from the local, regional and national business community.

The Mariners also places great importance on community engagement and its charitable arm, South Shields FC Foundation, which runs the club’s junior teams, estimates to have delivered a value of £10 million in social impact in South Tyneside over the past three years.
