Constructing Excellence in the North East has revealed its shortlist for the Constructing Excellence North East Awards 2023.
Individuals, projects and organisations have been identified for this key calendar highlight for the North East Built Environment, which takes place on 16 June at the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park.
With CDM Recruitment as headline sponsor, category sponsors include DAC Beachcroft, Faithful+Gould, GSS Architecture, H Malone & Sons, Northumbrian Water Group and Notify Technology.
Shortlisted nominees for the prestigious Building Project of the Year include Day Treatment Centre, Dogger Bank Wind Farm Facility, One Strawberry Lane, QE High and Hexham Middle School and The Spark.
The SME of the Year category features Applebridge Construction, BA Joinery, Castle Building Services, Clark Degnan, Crown Architectural Systems, HUSK, Roberts Environmental and Trench Networks.
The Net Zero category includes Dogger Bank Wind Farm Facility, MGL Group and Whinfield Retrofit (Gentoo)
The Sustainability category includes believe housing Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund Scheme, Dogger Bank Wind Farm Facility, Low Carbon Materials, MGL Group, One Strawberry Lane, Roberts Environmental and Summerhill Cycle Hub.
Other award categories include: Innovation, Health, Safety & Wellbeing, Value, Integration & Collaborative Working, Residential Project of the Year, Conservation & Regeneration, People Development and Digital Shortlisted. There will also be a Client of the Year award and some special awards for outstanding contribution.
