Renewableuk Director Joins Newcastle Energy Specialist As Nonexecutive

Global manpower provider, Samuel Knight International, has announced the appointment of Julian Brown, a director of RenewableUK in a non-executive position.

Julian brings over 20 years of wind industry experience to the firm and will be a key driver in building further relationships for Samuel Knight International within the renewable energy talent market. Holding several senior board positions across the energy space, Julian was chairman for RenewableUK for several years and is a director for the leading trade association.

Julian boasts extensive strategic, commercial and wind industry experience, developed through a long-standing career as vice president and country manager for offshore wind business, Vestas. Regionally, he is chair of Newton Aycliffe based Tekmar Group plc. Julian was also recently appointed as chair of BVG Associates, a specialist wind industry consultancy. Samuel Knight International provides energy manpower and solutions across the renewable energy space, with a growing client portfolio in the UK, Europe and USA. Despite the pandemic, it recently announced a multi-million turnover, driven by client growth in the clean energy market.
