Castle Building Services has been appointed as principal contractor for the state-of-the-art PragmatIC Park electronics facility in Durham, which is expected to create 500 skilled jobs over the next five years.
PragmatIC Semiconductor, which manufactures flexible integrated circuits, recently announced the location of its new UK site, PragmatIC Park, will be on the Meadowfield Industrial Estate, Durham.
The factory will transform the present brownfield industrial site into a modern semiconductor production facility, incorporating features that significantly improves sustainability compared to traditional manufacturing.
As principal contractor, Castle Building Services is working alongside In Architecture, Kinetic Engineers Ltd, Portland Consultancy, BlueKeep Building Control and Northern Engineering Services.
