Banks Homes Opens Doors To New Residential Developments

Issue 122

Housebuilder Banks Homes has opened the doors to some of the new homes at its latest residential developments.

The County Durham-headquartered developer held two Open House weekend events at its Cornfields site in Yarm to give homebuyers the chance to look around some of the different property types that are on offer there and that will also be available at its forthcoming Pastures development in Hambleton in North Yorkshire.

And after welcoming dozens of visitors to The Cornfields over two busy and successful weekends, more than 20 of the new properties have already been reserved across the two developments.

Banks Homes is building up to 109 high quality family homes at its Cornfields site, which is the first of its developments to feature show homes based on the company’s bespoke range of property designs.

A total of 11 different house types will be available at The Cornfields, with all the properties being fitted with advanced smart heating systems, air source heat pumps and electric vehicle car charging points.

The four and five-bedroom homes come with ground floor underfloor heating as standard, along with selected house types having 2.6m high ceilings on the ground floor.

The Pastures, which is Banks Homes’s first residential development in North Yorkshire, will include 62 high-quality private and affordable homes of different sizes and types, including ten bungalows.

Each home at The Pastures will feature an advanced smart heating system, a full range of integrated kitchen appliances, a Ring doorbell and a fully-turfed rear garden, while some of the properties will include underfloor heating and higher ceilings.

Part of the County Durham-headquartered Banks Group, Banks Homes is building a growing portfolio of high-quality residential sites across North East England and Yorkshire, with work well under way at its Cathedral Meadows site in West Rainton and a number of new developments set to come through the planning system this year.

Aisling Ramshaw, sales and marketing director at Banks Homes, says: “Our Open House weekends were designed to give visitors the chance to see how we’re creating our different types of sustainable, future-proofed homes and to decide which ones might provide the best options for them and their families.

“The response we had from visitors and their comments on the quality of the new homes we’re creating couldn’t have been more positive.

“We’re already seeing a huge amount of interest in our bespoke range of new home designs and very pleased to see this translating into homebuyers taking increasing numbers of prereservations off plan from us.”

New homes are now available at The Cornfields from £328,950, with the five-bedroom Sheraton and four-bedroom Hawthorne show home properties open for viewing there five days a week.

New homes are also available at The Pastures from £275,950, with its show home set to open later in the spring.
