North Shields-based, Carney Consultancy, has expanded its partnership with national property developer, Adderstone Group.
An established relationship, which spans over 10 years, has developed to the stage where Carney Consultancy is now working across the Group as its preferred health and safety consultant.
Led by director, Martin Crammond, Carney Consultancy is assisting Adderstone Projects, Adderstone Living and, most recently, Adderstone Civils, and its supply chain, to comply with ever-changing regulations.
Established in 2002, Carney Consultancy has a focus on construction and engineering, providing health and safety consultancy and training.
Martin Crammond, said: “We have built a very long-term relationship with Adderstone Group, one based on trust, reputation and our ability to deliver.
“Most recently, we have been appointed to undertake all aspects of health and safety to Adderstone Civils, including assisting the team as it works towards a number of ISO accreditations.
“Across the Group, we keep abreast of changes to policies and procedures, undertake fire risk assessments, site assessments, environmental management, provide project overviews and construction phase plans. We also work with the teams to review management systems and offer compliance guidance.
“Adderstone Group is yet another home-grown highly successful North-East business we are working with, which places the health and safety of its employees as a top priority.”
Established and headquartered in Newcastle, companies operating within the Group employ over 300 people. Over the past 20 years it has breathed new life into over 40 restoration, regeneration and brownfield projects, developed over 2 million sq. ft of commercial floorspace and created homes for 1.2% of people in Newcastle’s urban core.
Allison Harrison, group operations director at Adderstone, said, ‘Nothing is more important to us than the safety of our people and Carney Consultancy is the perfect partner to cover all aspects of our health and safety within the workplace.”
