Cascade Cash Management (Cascade) has expanded its team with the creation of a new role for a Relationship Manager to bring the services to a wider range of customers.
Dr. Ryan Dias has joined the team bringing with him a background in medicine and a desire to bring the benefits of Cascade to those in the profession and to charities in the arena that will benefit too. Cascade Cash Management is an independent and transparent service created to generate enhanced cash returns and increased depositor protection on deposits through professional cash management. It boasts an online Fintech portal which is the only one of its kind in the UK.
Cascade allows independent and unbiased cash solutions meaning that clients don’t have to choose only one bank. With the online portal and Cascade’s client support team, all banks are accessed quickly and easily, on a daily basis. Often, the experienced team support clients in navigating the painful process of opening and maintaining savings accounts with multiple different providers with a hands-on approach for useful and insightful support. Dr Ryan Dias has been instrumental in delivering a number of leadership programs delivered in the NHS, as well as enjoying an illustrious career in Psychiatry since graduating from medical school in Newcastle. Based in Derbyshire, Dr Ryan also is founder of a business that supports teens looking to start medical careers, StartMedUK. Having witnessed the positives of Cascade for himself, and with the changing face of the UK due to the pandemic, Dr Ryan is ready for an opportunity where he can make a difference to both a business and its customers.
He said: “When Cascade MD Dr. Emma Black told me about her aspirations to help more hard working medical staff, doctors and charities in the medical field get better returns on their cash with the peace of mind that comes from FSCS protection, I automatically said “I can help you do that”. It seemed like such a natural addition to what I already do, that will help lots of people benefit.”
A great example of a medically based charity to benefit from Cascade’s services is the Friends of Victoria Hospital charity. Founded in 1935, the charity’s objective is to “support patients of the hospital and others in the community who are in need of health care as may be provided by the hospital, and generally to support the work of the hospital”.
Dr. Emma Black said: “It is very exciting to have Dr Ryan Dias join us and bring his expertise of the medical world with him. Clients like Friends of Victoria Hospital are so important to us as we can ensure they benefit from higher depositor protection and also help them get better returns. This makes all our team proud and feel good about our service! The world has to be a better place for us being here and this is a part of our service that our team are really passionate about supporting.”
In one example recently drafted, a charity was shown to have achieved net of fee returns of more than £20,800 a year when compared to the money sat in a high street bank account. Dr. Ryan Dias concluded: “This is a new and exciting opportunity for me but one where I can bring my current knowledge and understanding of the medical industry to assist those who will benefit. Cash is so precious in the current climate, and those in the medical field or raising funds for medical purposes deserve all the support they can get. I am here to make that happen as seamlessly and quickly as possible.”
